ABOUT

JAMVFX freeze time to Savour the Golden Moment with Steve Cope at 2AM films for Africa’s Guinness Gold.

The frozen moment was achieved with careful planning and precision. The shots were constructed from two main plates; a live-action foreground hero & a high-speed background plate to minimise the movement of the live-action people.  Due to a moving camera, a bolt camera rig was employed to allow the passes to be shot with the same move at different speeds.

3D liquid was created using real flow simulations textured, animated, and match moved with the live-action plate.

VFX BREAKDOWN

SIMILAR PROJECTS:

I have worked with many Vis FX companies over the years but most recently with JAMFX and the I found the experience to be by far the best.  The most crucial element for me is the communication and I found this to be fantastic.    I was able to speak to our supervisor any time – no problem was too big or small for them to sort.   We were on a very tight deadline and they delivered ahead of time and the work was exemplary.     They are also an incredibly creative company and always felt that they cared about the project and had invested time in understanding what was needed.

I know that our whole team from our director to our post producer enjoyed the experience and crucially, plan to work with them again.
