ABOUT

JAMVFX was approached to create an epic scene with the camera floating alongside a nuclear submarine using a 1-minute Animation sequence and 1 camera move.

There were 3000 pieces modeled to create the deconstruction of the Submarine.
Individual textures were highly detailed and the whole scene was a massive 8k. The lighting was set up and the two environments were blended together in Nuke.

The team created a beautifully smooth animation with detailed textures which combined have a very dramatic feel that the client was delighted with.

SIMILAR PROJECTS:

I have worked with many Vis FX companies over the years but most recently with JAMFX and the I found the experience to be by far the best.  The most crucial element for me is the communication and I found this to be fantastic.    I was able to speak to our supervisor any time – no problem was too big or small for them to sort.   We were on a very tight deadline and they delivered ahead of time and the work was exemplary.     They are also an incredibly creative company and always felt that they cared about the project and had invested time in understanding what was needed.

I know that our whole team from our director to our post producer enjoyed the experience and crucially, plan to work with them again.
